The First Experience of Doing Business In UUM

Our business is a product oriented in term of cosmetic product. The business idea concept of our group member is to start a business to sell the facial mask at UUM. It is because around in UUM, we have been noticed that there are already too many people involved in the fried food and umbrella business in UUM while facial mask business is still undiscovered. So, we like to take this opportunity to run this facial mask business in UUM. Besides that, the cost of the product is low compare to others cosmetic products and it can bring us a high profit.

 ~Challenges~
Group member is difference backgrounds of each other. In the beginning of business, we are hard to get know each other, particularly for those with different interests, residential hall (DPP) and backgrounds. In the other hand, some of them have difference mindset and diverse viewpoint.

 ~Unforgettable Experience~
our products had been confiscated by the custom. We ordered product in bulks from korea and we do not realize that it is restricted by the law. Fortunately, we were able to get back all of our facial mask products with the help from our lecturers and advices from the custom officer. If do not succeed in getting back our product, our business process will fail to function well. Hence, we learned the important experience from this case.

 ~My Opinion~
If I given a chance to start this business again I will make sure that I have the business skill on how to start up my business. Before start a business, we should do the survey, market trend analysis and what we need to be selling and promote. Thus, we would not make a wrong decision. In addition, I also will arrange my time for this business so that my business will go smoothly and success in the future. Next, I will avoid the case of products were confiscated by the custom. Moreover, I also will avoid the argument with business partner during the meeting.
